Gourmet Moorhens

Kev had a short afternoon session at the Racecourse yesterday and ringed a few new birds-Goldcrest, Coal, Blue and Great Tits; but managed his seconf Moorhen in as many weeks. He has been experimenting with a walk-in trap for a while but it seems he has now finally found bait which will tempt the rather sophisticated palates of the Moorhens on his site. At great expense he is now providing them with sardines on crusty bread--whatever it takes!!
